International Experience

I was very fortunate to take part in a year of studying abroad in France from July 2018 to May 2019. I was able to immerse myself in the language as well as the culture. I learned so much from my time abroad about French politics and social life. Not only did I learn more about France but I learned about many other cultures as well from making friends from over nine different countries. Also, I was lucky enough to travel to over ten different countries while abroad. From my time studying and travelling I saw things from many different points of view. Being able to see so many cultures and ways of life has given me a new respect for what a wide and amazing world we have. I learned so much about the difference between learning a culture and actually being in it and hearing about it from the people of that country/culture. My time abroad has helped me to appreciate that there is so much more to learn about the world and its citizens.
